How Can You Help

There are various ways you can help Luso-American Education Foundation, by becoming a member or Donating.

Membership allows voting rights at the Annual LAEF for every year the minimum installment is received. Members receive invitations to events and the opportunity to run for the Board of Directors.

Individual: An individual membership is for a single individual who pays the annual membership dues of $50.00 per year.

Family: A family membership is comprised of 2 adults, and up to 2 children under the age of 18 who pays the annual membership dues of $100.00 per year.

Benefactor: A one-time contribution of $1000 or more.

Perpetual: A one-time contribution of $2500 will be accorded a perpetual membership and will be known as a “Patron.” A “patron” may transfer their membership to a family member not to exceed 5 transfers.

Legal Entity: A Legal Entity membership is for Corporations, Partnerships, Associations who pays the annual membership dues of $500.00 or more. A Legal Entity shall be entitled to one vote for each $500.00 contribution per year, not exceeding 5 votes.

You can contribute to LAEF with a tax deductible donation in the following modalities:

  • In Honorarium for family or friends celebrating a birthday or anniversary
  • In Memoriam to celebrate the life of a loved one and to honor their memory
  • Remembering the Foundation in your will or living trust
  • Making a donation to our various programs such as the Summer Youth Cultural Camp, the Annual Conference on Education and Culture, the annual Pelicas/Rosario Golf Classic Fundraiser, or the Foundations Scholarship Program
  • Contribute to the Foundation through payroll deductions, or donate directly through our website.
  • Become a member – membership in the Luso-American Education Foundation allows voting rights at the annual membership meeting. Members also receive invitations to events and the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors. Membership categories are:
