Annual Education Conference – TBD
LAEF sponsors and holds an annual conference focusing on the Portuguese language, literature, and culture. LAEF also provides support to other education and cultural programs that foster the teaching and promotion of the Portuguese Language or Culture (i.e. music, folklore dance, history, art, etc.)

Dia de Portugal/Foundation Anniversary Gala – June 10, 2023 – San Jose, CA
LAEF sponsors and celebrates “Dia de Portugal, de Camões e das Comunidades Portuguesas” in conjunction with the Foundation’s anniversary and the honoring of scholarship recipients. The celebration will be held at the Portuguese Athletic Club at 1401 E Santa Clara St San Jose, CA 95116. The event will start at 6:00 pm with no host and Dinner at 6:30 pm.
LAEF organizes and sponsors an annual week long camp on a college campus for students to learn about college life and the Portuguese culture.

The Pelicas & Rosario Memorial Golf Classic is one of the Luso-American Education Foundation’s biggest fundraiser and helps us continue to give Scholarship and Grants each year! More Info

Annual Membership Meeting – January 2022
The Annual Membership Meeting is an opportunity for our Luso-American Education Foundation members to come and here about what the Foundation worked on the previous year and plans for the upcoming year. The Annual Membership meeting is also were our elections happen for the Luso-American Education Foundation Board of Directors.
